There is now (v0.3.11a) a plug-in framework. It is not very mature, and needs a well-designed API, but it is a start. None of the old functionality has been moved into plug-ins, but some new functionality has been introduced via a plug-in: dynamically adding and removing NamingServices from the tree control is done via a plug-in. We now have a config file. By default, this config file is in the user's home directory, and named 'cossak.xml'. If the specified file does not exist, a simple example config file is created.
The config files currently have two options: NameService and PluginDirectory (which directories to search for JAR files containing plugins).
