Are there any chances a new version of ctags will be published with this fix? Distributions (like Ubuntu 8.04) still use official release 5.7, and I don't think they will use SVN version for this project.

I attached two files, here is output for them:
# ctags a.js b.js
ctags: Unexpected end of file: b.js
You can process files separately, or even process them in the other order and it would be ok.
There are two variables in jscript.c file: name and token. It seems that variable "name" sometimes is not initialized propely for new file when previous was processed, and has old filePosition...
