Yes, the problem is reproducible. Sorry for the lack of summary, I was deeply frustrated at the time. In short, the save button and dialog always creates a file but doesn't always include all of the pages.

Clicking the Save button, Save menu item, or typing ctrl-s does not always save work. Sometimes, if any pages are selected (say, from cropping or rotating), it silently fails to save other pages.
Either the Save feature is not respecting the All radio button or something in the application sometimes changes it to Selection, ensuring work is lost.
