It should fall back, but it doesn't. Perhaps xrdp is not repying with a correct capabilities list or something ?
Options verified. Nothing is being shared, no sound, printers, nada.

I've had yet someone else using the Windows 7 RC client be unable to access xrdp. XRDP is a really cool project, and the absolute LAST thing I want to do is have to kludge in a Windows 2008 server to handle the RDP session.
ICK.
Can anyone tell me if it's possible to force the newer RDP client to use the older protocol ?
Is xrdp still a viable ongoing project ?

Hi All -
Windows 7 will be released soon(ish) along with the new RDP client. This is something that we're going to have to support ...
Is there any work ongoing with xrdp ? What is the status of the project ?

xrdp 0.4.0 under Debian Lenny/stable works great. I built the X11rdp server from scratch for x32, and it works perfectly. I've been testing 0.4.1, and so far that seems to be working very well also. It's a pity it hasn't been packaged properly for Debian yet ...
I just started testing the RDP client that comes with Windows 7 RC (build 7100) and it has a problem. The old dreaded...

Currently, when reading a story thread, each post has a
grey backgrounded header that contains the start of the
post, the score, userid and suchlike. Below that is the
first few lines of the post. Well and good.
Most people only want to read posts that are of a
particular score or higher - I'm in that group. But I find
myself constantly/occasionally dipping down ... So I

The "Chhose a target" page has a list of targets that are available, along with a description. Clicking on a target brings to the preliminary graph page for that target.
For example,
port 4/10 VLAN 12 to 7th Flloor IDF
The Title/Heading of the page is
Graphs for [targetname]
It would be really nice to include the description from the "Choose target"...
