I take back my previous message. We've been testing this all day with a various combinations of:
1) Bundled JRE or not being present.
2) launch4j.xml containing <maxHeapSize>1342</maxHeapSize>
3) launch4j.xml containing <maxHeapPercent>90</maxHeapPercent>
We run these on various Win XP 32-bit machines with 1 to 3 GB of real memory using Java 1.6.0_11...

Please disregard. This turned out to be a corrupted JRE in a single install folder. Probably due to a bad Windows file server that botched a copy. This error had nothing to do with launch4j. Keep up the good work!

Hi,
Our app was using an older version of launch4j with an optional bundled jre. We relied on the exe looking for a 'jre' folder, using it if found, else falling back to the java in the system path.
I needed to upgrade to get the percent of max memory behavior, however this new version seems to absolutely require the 'jre' folder or it won't run. Java in system path is ignored
