thanks from your nice problem report but please add always
the version of lpr you are using. (and in this case also the cups version).
back to your Question:
ACK_STOP_Q 1 means jobs failed; no spooling to the remote queue
(from LPRng-HOWTO)
the problem is that can have several reason,
* do cups actualy have an printer "lp" ?
* do your cups require...

can you send the job directly to the printer with lpr ?
it should look like "lpr -Pqueue@printer%port test.ps"
if this works i would assume that your printersetup is broken perhaps the filter.

hi i have tested TORA 2.0.0 with OpenSuse 11.0
the configure was running ok
./configure --with-uic=/usr/bin/uic
but the compile broke:

As always there is a simple reason. With 3.8.x The maintainer changed, sofar no problem. the the the former maintainer released independ 3.8.28. that left us in limbo.
So we made an compromise concerning the new name. if you are the gentoo maintainer feel free to join the ml on sourceforge.

prboom-plus-game-server compiles even when network disabled.
the only thing it does is:
prboom-plus-server: You must compile with networking enabled!

I have tried to rebuild saga 2.0.1 (from sourceforge.net) and i get the following error:

2. where got you the source from ?

I used gnuplot 4.2.0 to plot a timeseries
config:
set xdata time
set timefmt "%H:%M"
set format x "%H:%M"
set xtics +60 rotated by 90
the postscript output is fine. but when using png/gif
the size of the rotate labels is not take into account.
The too small gif will cut of chars from the label.
(see picture attached)
You see 2:00 instead of 12:00
