  • Error when creating project: poss. dynfield

Hi guys, i am trying to create a project. I've created a few successfully, but after removing a dynfield (simple text field), i get this error when creating a project. Anybody has a solution? Here is a detailed dump of what took place at the time of the error, which may assist a programmer in tracking down the problem: Database operation "0or1row" failed (exception ERROR, "ERROR...

sorry mate, but that's not helping. At least thats not a full and thus unsable reply. For others which may encounter this problem, it was a bug which is taken care of in the latest version. Otherwise search for the "config.tcl"-file, which contains the settings mentioned above. you can find it in the c:\project-open\servers\projop\etc\config.tcl (at least for windows). regards.

I am having the same problem. The project type is self-defined "Internal", which is a child of "COnsulting Project". Any solution suggestions?.

  • Followup: RE: Migrate ]po[to a different server

Hi guys, what are the actual steps do perform the migration under windows from one to another system? What i see in the "Operations & Maintenance Guide 2008-02-05", thats linux, right? > su - projop & psql –f pg_dump.xxxx.sql 2>&1 > import.log > I dumped the database in system 1, and i have the file from "servers>filestorage>backups etc..." copied into the system 2. How do i...

  • Backups generally

Hi all, will be installing PO on a dedicated machine, probably win server 2003, RAID etc. We've tested it extensively, and will go productive in January. From now till then - setting up the system. How do you guys do backups? Using the backup-function in PO saves data on the same physical storage, right? Do you use an external storage (not in the server)? I think once per week, the...

Hi Venkat, Thanks for your reply. In the meantime i switched to Windows 7 because we re gonna run project-open on a win server 2003. So, if the other users dont have this problem, i think this thread can be closed. I sent you a few screenshots the other day. Congrats on the release, i have the 3.4.0.7.8. running on Windows 7, and its looking very well, running smoothly, w/o problems.

  • Followup: RE: win-3.4.0.7beta, port 8000 not accessible

Thanks Frank, problem solved. So, on Windows 7, the path is: C:>project-open>servers>projop>etc>config.tcl Change the setting for port listening from default "127.0.0.1" to "[host-mashine local ip]" or as Frank suggested "0.0.0.0". That should do the trick. So, this setting is default in the Ubuntu version, but not the Windows version, is...

  • Followup: RE: Noone can login hours settings not set right?

Hi Frank, i am afraid it can not be reproduced on demo.project-open.net. Does that run on WinServer 2003? To reproduce the issue, take an Ubuntu 9.04-Machine, and simply install project-open. Run the configuration (Consultng, 2-50 employees), and this issue is already present in the demo-version. So, a fresh installation on Ubuntu 9.04 should reproduce the issue. Regards, LV.

  • Followup: RE: Error in Timesheet Tasks

Category "Task" is existant. I think its the 3.4.0.7."<7" version. Anyway, i installed 3.4.0.7.7 Ubuntu, and there is no bug there, so problem solved, kind of (s. other posts, can't log in hours in ubuntu).
