    The function subscribed to the showMaskEvent in YAHOO.widget.Panel.prototype.init will walk all elements in the DOM and immediately check if the tag name matches certain names. On a page with a large DOM this makes showing modal Panels very slow. The attached zip file contains a simple test case. yuibug.html demonstrates the problem.     Logged In: YES user_id=142237 It looks like 10.4 made the permissions on /Library/InputManagers more secure. Does it work if you try to install it for the current user only?.

I can send my modified nib, or it should be sufficient just to add a check box to the prefrerence pane and hook it up to the xtermMouseReporting outlet of PreferencePanel.h Also looking at the patch again, there are a few NSLog's...
