I can verify this, I see exactly the same problem on RHEL 5 with my N73. I'm running bluez-libs-3.18-1, bluez-utils-3.18-1, kdebluetooth-1.0-2.33.beta3, obexfs-0.11-0.1.rc2,
obexftp-0.22-0.3.rc6, openobex-1.3-3.1, openobex-apps-1.3-3.1.

I found this problem too, only after I found this bug report though, sadly! I've patched 0.3.6 with a fix so your devices don't get unregistered when the lths module loads. If you want to check it out I've uploaded it here as a patch -> http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1746386&group_id=160630&atid=816619.
