I solved it: the dbpass in ConfigWizard.inc cannot be blank! actually, then it gets stacked. :((( I gave up. --giuseppe.

the installation doesn't go ahead because PHP_SELF is not set. Using: - PHP 4.3.1 - Apache 2.0.44 any idea/workaround??? -giuseppe.
