What program was used to provide me with the DB dump
for this project recently?
I have tried unsuccessfully several times to
decompress the file that was placed in the project
directory. What program, and with what switches, was
the DB dump performed that resulted in the .gz file
that was provided for me to download recently for the
XoopsForge project?
Project Group ID: 50968.

Thanks for the db dump, but what was it compressed with,
and with what switches? I have tried both tar and gunzip
without success.

I understand that SF has updated to the newer 4.xx
version of mySQL. What happened to the existing 3.xx
DB when the DB server upgrade was processed? I had
attempted to perform a db dumb, but without success
due to permissions issues extending back to when the
project was transferred to me that were eventually
resolved. The membership of my site was in the
hundreds of members, and I...

Is there some specific reason why the download files are being updated to the current version regularly?
The download version on SF.net is still 1.0 from 2003, although the true current version is 3.3.
Half the Mirror Sites that are listed in the "mirrors section" of the lefthand navigation of the current ultimatebootcd.com web site are dead links, and heaven help you if you try...

Hello,
I have noticed that it is impossible for me to update or
delete files and folders because none of the xoopsforge
project files were chowned to me by the last admin,
whose credentials still are bound to this projects files
and folders. I do not have sufficient permissions to
chown them all to my user name.
While I know it would have been best to have to the old
admin...

It would be good if the gentleman whose project this would post the exact system configuration that he uses for his working site at
AbsoluteMeeting.com
Like others, I found out about the need for installing ADODB from working out the errors, not from the docs where it would be good to find this info.
I worked out the error on the make_selbox function by removing the last two variables...

I left a couple of questions along the way myself. I have alsi emailed the gentleman directly with no responses.
I would like to add that I am also trying to get this script set to work correctly and I have just determined that the code in rfunctions.php,
$ADODB_FETCH_MODE = ADODB_FETCH_ASSOC;
$ADODB_CACHE_DIR = '/tmp';
is based on PHP5 featuresm and is outlined at this URL...

This bug has been noted by others since the original
release. Would you please upload a new copy of the zip
file using binary mode, or forward a copy of the file to
me directly.
I am attaching the downloaded copy so you can see for
yourself that the file was corrupted.

RedHat 8.0 uses Qt-3.0.5 not 2.2.2, how do I get the configure script to acknowledge the 3.0.5 version and configure against it? I have tried all the environment tricks I can think of including using the appropriate --with switches for the Qt directory, include, and lib
Thanks in advance for any help you might give me with this.
