Just to confirm, I'm talking about the flag /Zl. That's a lower-case L.
I downloaded Indri 2.5 windows installer from the sourceforge page and I'm using the Visual Studio 2005 toolset for compilation of my code.

Any chance you could add the '/Zl' flag to the Windows build for libraries? This will remove the dependency on the exact /M* flag that you choose. You can find the option under "C/C++ -> Advanced -> Omit default library name" in Visual Studio.
