I assume this worked before but changed in a recent release of Sedna (currently 2.1.12) but metadata values are now '$' instead of '$.xml'
So the two instances of doc("$version.xml") in adapter.py must now read doc("$version")
Thanks!

Hello,
First, thanks for a much needed hook into Sedna!

I think I found where things are going wrong. The function fetchone(), in the first condition, is trying to fetch the next row (self._getItem()) instead of returning nothing (None).
The only problem with this fix...

under b10.5.5, trying to create ext2 or ext3 filesystem
on sd card causes some strange happenings. first, the
'lost+found' dir usually created turns up to be named
'lost+fou.nd'. second can't create symlinks. thirdly
cant fsck.

seems that when setting up network settings,
/etc/resolv.conf had an added line above the default line
('nameserver 127.0.0.1') pointing to my lan dns ('nameserver
192.168.0.1'). by commenting out the lan address, /etc/hosts
is recognized. should lookup first use /etc/hosts then move
on to /etc/resolv.conf?.
