THe change of the status of MAxDB is making this topic really usefull.
As you may already know SAP took MAXDB back to its ownership. The licence itself change a little bit. MAXDB is no more welcome SAPDB. A 7.7 version was released only to have a full commercial licence on SAPDB. We can be anxious of what is the future of this database...
I want to correct someting wrong in this topic...

we are not providing support to install Limbas on a Windows server.
Limbas can only run on Linux server. It is one of its requirement.

Hello,
No you can not. MaxDB is much performanter, much safer... and it is release under an opensource license.
Why would you like to use Mysql?
Limbas is currently only working on MaxDB. PostrgreSQL, Oracle, DB2 and MsSQL are planed, but not MySQL.
If you need help with maxDB just ask.

We unfornatly have not translate all on the version of Limbas. More translation are coming in the next release (at last in 2 weeks)
Concerning your trouble with keyboard, it is because the layout of the keyboard on the liveCD is the german keyboard, which is not a qwerty but a qwertz. I understand it is a bit confusing...
With the new release come 2 new liveCD on in English and on in...
