  • Custom directory icons patch

Patch files supplied by Steve Cooley (see patch #479706) to use a specially named file, "directory.jpg", if it exists, as the thumbnail image that is associated with each album. Directions from Steve: A small caveat about the code I've modified.. There's some specific places where you're going to want to search for "steve cooley" and replace with your name for...

What browser are you using? I developed it w/ Netscape 4.7 and IE 5.X, but I noticed problems with Mozilla that I haven't fixed yet... I can put some patches together if in fact you're using Mozilla--there's some session handling stuff and relative links that don't work quite right currently.

  • Followup: RE: How do you update winners & losers?

Right now I have to update the MySQL database manually. Definitely could use a nicer interface there. Also, there's no (current) way to create a new team list other than to do the SQL manually. I usually create a text file and then suck that into the database. Sorry to take so long to reply--I assumed I'd get any forum messages automatically being the project owner! :-(.

  • Patch to output extra frames to keep A/V sync

When trying to create VCDs and SVCDs, following most of the HOWTOs on the internet, I can create a (S)VCD compliant MPEG1/2 file and a MP2 audio file. However, the video file is typically shorter time-wise then the audio file, creating horrible A/V sync problems. This patch changes the frame output by duplicating enough video frames such that when the video and audio are mux'd together,

  • Followup: RE: SNMP trap handler

Hi Francois, I will update the documentation next time around to describe more adequately how raw SNMP trap information that's stored in the LENS_TRAP and LENS_TRAP_ARGS tables are converted into NetworkLens events. In our environment, I've set up a cron job to run "lens-trap" every minute although I suppose the other suggestions you mentioned would be feasible as well. For...
