While I do think having an overlay blacklist editable inside the client would be much more intuitive, I just wanted to point out that if you want to disable the overlay for a given game, simply create a blank file called nooverlay in the same folder as the game executable, per this page:

Did you just install the 1.2 Murmur over the top of your 1.1.8 Murmur? That might be causing problems with the ACL - Superuser by default should already be registered, and should have the ability to do everything unless something's broken (most likely a database problem I would guess).
In fact, I believe by default users will have the ability to *register themselves* on a fresh server - what...

If I'm not mistaken, that bar is a widget which you can grab to re-arrange the layout of the UI. I filed a feature request (#2875902) to have an option to lock the UI where you leave it, which would prevent these bars from showing up.
Unless I'm misunderstanding the bar you're talking about, I don't think this is a bug.

I think it'd be a nice idea to have a "lock" checkbox in the "User Interface" options tab, which prevents both the dragging to arrange the windows, as well as prevents resizing them. Once you get the window setup the way you want it, it would make the interface look a little cleaner.

On Windows, kill dbus-daemon.exe process and you can start another Mumble client. I don't know about other platforms.

I'm not a Mumble developer, and I know very little about the overlay system. However I do have some experience with nProtect's GameGuard, and if the overlay system works the way I think it does (injection) then GG is blocking it. Fraps and Dxtory work because they're explicitly white-listed by GG - try using any obscure game-recording software or writing your own and you'll find it just plain...

In Mumble-git, if you edit a channel and add a comment with quotes in it, the quotes will be turned into their HTML entitied (eg " becomes ") and then they're not converted back in the tooltip etc. Didn't exist in e41dbb (not sure exactly what version, I'm sure slicer knows), and it appears to be in the "saving" rather than the "displaying" because comments set by (for example) an e41dbb...
