I would like to announce that with the help of our new developer Josef J. Micka (mexmer) LineAge utils project reactivated. I still no longer participate in project development. But I'm still here and will try to help mexmer in questions about LAU legacy wherever I can. So I welcome our new developer and wish him good luck :)

1. Delete Config.xml from LineAge Utils installation directory.
2. Run LineAge Utils. That will bring a warning about no configuration found and defaults will be used. Press ok.
3. Another warning - press ok.
4. Select LineAge client directory (i.e. "c:\Program files\LineAge II" and not "c:\Program files\LineAge II\system").
5. Another warning - press ok.
6. A new dialog...

Maybe smth with windows firewall (or some other firewall program). Or you do not have administrator rights in your system.

Try reverse files in LineAge/system folder to the original (that was right
after installation of the client).
Also make sure you use 1.5.* version for C5 client. For C4 client use
1.4.* version.

LAU does not supports latest official C5 client (Interlude).
If you have latest C5 that was prior to interlude (on some private server) - try to undo all changes that were made by your server patches. You must give LAU original versions of dat-files in LineAge2/system folder.

Most likely this is because your server implement anti-bot system thats why you can't use LAU. LAU 1.5 was designed for official C5 server, and old 1.4 version can have many bugs.
