I embedded Flashlight VNC 1.2.0 in an existing Flex 3 application and got it working fine, except for one thing: one user is using an Ubuntu 9.04 desktop, Gnome 2.26.1, Flash player 10.0.32.18, debugging version.
When running another vnc viewer from the same machine, everything works fine as well.
He gets a black screen only, whereas the same application on Windows Vista as well as Mac OSX...

Sorry, this was confusing way of telling me that something was wrong with the policy file.
After correcting that, the "not a valid RFB client" message disappeared and everything works!

Hi,
I have integrated Flashlight-VNC in my own app.
Work well when compiling and testing on local macbook towards TightVNC on Fedora 10 server.
But get following message in TightVNC log when executing same code when compiled on that same server. Screen stays black.
Any idea?

Hi,
In a commercial flash10(flex) e-coaching app we want to implement co-browsing, i.e. multiple pairs of users can each engage in a shared web browser session. Session management, p2p a/v, whiteboarding etc is all there. We want to extend with ability for both users to share a browser window. Looks like Flashlight-VNC is the right way to go. Correct?
