A reset of the transition name position is already possible. A static position attached to the first trackpoint is not wanted, because the user should be able to place them wherever he wants to.

I tested the installation on a clean new kubuntu 8.
For intallation of the svn version you need to install libtool and redo the complete installation flow.
This then leads to the same status as installing the packet. But the configure step shows that
python is not ready. This does not result in an error with abortion and messages , it just shows it
and continues. We will try to fix that in...
