Well, the default is that auto resizing is on. You might've turned it off accidentally or there may be a bug lurking :-) Anyway, if it happens again, please open a new bug report.

Hi Rich,
I suspect you have the task viewer in list mode (see the drop down in the task viewer's tool bar). Am I right?

Hi Tore,
Can you create a new task file with just one of the offending tasks in it (using File -> Save selection) and see whether the problem persists? If so, please attach that task file to this bug report.

A fix was made and checked into the source code repository of Task Coach. The fix will be part of the next release. You will get another notification when that release is available with the request to install the new release and confirm that your issue has indeed been fixed.

Hi Krik,
This is because you turned off autoresizing of the columns. Right click a column header and check "Automatic column resizing".

1 is already possible: in the preferences dialog, go to the window tab and check "Hide main window when iconized".
For 2 and 3 some programming needs to be done. I'm not sure what you mean with 4. Please contact us at developers@taskcoach.org to discuss further.

Hi,
Did you take a screenshot of the "weird error" message or did you write it down? The exception in the error log shouldn't normally cause data loss.
