  • Comment: quick capture

Implemented with 0.3 is duplicate capture. Control-Shift-D by default will select the same area as the previous selection. Save in jpg and png format was also implemented. Writing the duplicate area straight to a file with no user interaction was not implemented and leaving open because of that.

  • Comment: setting the screengrab hotkey

Implemented with version 0.3. The control-shift modifier is required, however the key can be changed in $USER.DIR\capturedit.properties. For example in windows xp this is: c:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\capturedit.properties.

  • Comment: the way screengrabs are stored in clipboard

Alright, thanks for following up. I've looked into the issue and though I can't completely duplicate it (only have ms office 2003), there are certainly many 'flavors' available for formats of pasted images. Capturedit uses the jre provided imageFlavor which opens up these flavors. To limit which flavors that are available you can edit the flavormap.properties file in the /jre/lib folder (for...

  • Comment: setting the screengrab hotkey

thanks for the request. with the upcoming release (0.3) a properties file will drive many of the settings such as the hot key(s). • Comment: quick capture

yeah, that should be doable. look for it the save and recapture in the next release. unfortunately the native tie ins still need to be written for other platforms, so being truly cross platform is a little bit further away.
