The <strong> tag is not one of the allowed tags (defined in the system/application/config/Fl_adsconfig.php file by $config['Fl_ads_allowed_tags']). The tags that are not allowed are stripped.

The image filenames - either for the category logo or the images associated to ads - are renamed when they are saved on the server after the upload. So, if you see the image you uploaded as the category logo on the http://.../index.php/fl_ads/list_ads/XX...

Hello,
The category logo is only displayed on the page that lists the ads of the category (http://.../index.php/fl_ads/list_ads/XX, XX being the category ID).
Having the logo displayed on the Home page requires a modification of the FladsClassifieds script. So I put that in my TODO list for a future release.
