I'd like to generate XML (and then parse it) with iTextSharp, but the examples are for an older version and they don't work (or I'm stupid), because there is not XmlWriter in the iTextSharp.text.xml namespace.
Is there a method for this in the current version ?.

Author's webpage is unavailable for some time, and Readme.html references to a ReportPrinting.chm help file which isn't included in the download. I managed to compile a simple example but I could use some more detailed documentation to be able to go further. Is it possible to get these docs somehow ?.

Maybe you are right...
I run a background application, Copernic Desktop Search, and it's not an antivirus but scans the files once in a few days... and that can be a problem.

Same problem here.
Not always, but sometimes (once in 1-2 days) ditto starts taking up all cpu,
written/read bytes grow up to several gigabytes, used virtual memory to 150Mbs, and the system becomes so
irresponsive that it takes minutes to kill the program.
I have no background antivirus apps running, just a firewall.
It's very annoying since it's a great program anyway.

Suggestions for some new features:
- a toolbar with "Show empty groups", "Show offline buddies", etc. buttons
- statusbar with active account status icons (like in SIM)

On company notebooks we need to install this software,
but meanwhile cannot connect when the fw is on (to be
precise: it has several components, fw, adblock, etc, and
turning off the fw is not enough, you have to close the program)
It connects when it's turned off, it connects on other machines with sygate firewall. The built-in Notes client CAN connect even if the fw is running, and...

The OSD window (with message preview) is a great
feature in sim.
The cvs version contains a closebox.
(Double click in window opens the message, closebox
closes the osd window - but the message remains in
unread state /flashing/.)
It would be nice to have an option to mark it read, when
one clicks on the closebox.
Another OSD issue: if the contact sends more messages,
the previous...

A great feature of miranda:
when I send a message, it's moved into a "message queue" (in the history window above)
and the user doesn't have to wait (in case of a slow connection) but can immediately
type the next message.
The message has three states: pending, successful, unsuccessful (marked by icons).
If the state is unsuccessful, the message can be resent by clicking on its icon.
