  • Comment: Indian converting stops

    I have looked the amount of food. Most of these settlements have hundreds of food, some of them have even thousands of food!! I think that means that the code which is responsible for creating new braves is buggy. ..Since creating outside units seems working. (some settlements have 5 units outside the settlement, but have only 2 inside the settlement!)

    Ok, i've just tested it, i downloaded only Specification.java and ServerColony.java, recompiled, and tested. Result: It works perfect!! Problem is now fixed! Thank you! Closing the "topic"... :)

  • Indians does not equip their braves with muskets and horses

    I have sold 300 horses and 300 muskets to an indian settlement, and i have seen in the savegame that their stored muskets and horses were increased, but they never equip their braves outside the settlement!   • Indian converting stops

    When you make a mission in an indian settlement, it start converting indians. But after a few converts created, it stops forever! I've examined my savegame, and i found that every indian settlement with a mission in it (inspecting only the ones which stopped making convert and near to my colonies), their convertProgress property is several thousand, and these settlements have only 2 braves...

    BTW, the same applies to muskets, where muskets are being built, but building-queue is empty, "Nothing is built..." message is fired also! (because of same reason: equipment with required-entry => it is assumed as a building-material)

    I get many-many "Nothing is being built in colony" message in every single turn with freecol 0.10.4, which is very annoying! They are all causeless, and they were not in version 0.10.3.     A suggestion: if the color code can't be converted successfully, it should make a default color, for example black. (instead of not creating the proper objects, and causing crash)

    As i have said: I HAVE EDITED that file. The original file doesn't have that space character. It got there by ME, accidentaly, when i changed the colors of indians. Yes, the colour loading code is really fragile! That should be fixed...

  • Option for 'oldstyle' goods-panel on colony screen

    In version 0.10.4 the only goods showed on the colony screen are the ones with amount greater than 0, and in disordered order! I very dislike this, i want back the old, when every goods showed in the bottom of colony screen.
