I use this script (dnsstats.pl) above to monitor my home network's DNS queries along with MRTG. After I did an update to ubuntu 8.10, dnsstats.pl stopped returning any data (no errors either). Just wanted to say that all is fine after 7 months of usage, reboots work fine, startup in unbuntu 8.10 work fine, all is well.

Either console or gui, does not finish defrag, gets to 96% and then finds no more files, but doesn't DO anything, just sits there.. It did look like a boot time defrag finished, hard to tell.
Attached is debug log.
Had to use Procexp to KILL defrag process, nothing else worked.
Defrag does not tell you what stage it's in, if it's working or not. No user status? I guess if it worked, it...

Two files are missing:
/usr/bin/mt-daapd-ssc.sh
/usr/bin/wavstreamer
These two are needed for transcoding.

The ushare init.d script is broken. It is missing a line. I'm using debian, but I'm sure this effects all.
After the CONFIGFILE statement line, you must add the USHARE_OPTIONS statement, else, the ushare startup script will not work:
CONFIGFILE=/etc/ushare.conf
USHARE_OPTIONS="-f $CONFIGFILE"
After you add the USHARE_OPTIONS statement, ushare starts up just like it should. I spend...
