I take the precaution of not passing the recursion limit now. If close to it, I just add a node saying "Recursion limit: can't go deeper": so it's not intrusive and actually gives that information where matters when user is exploring the tree.
Fixed in r2478.

This happened because of a massive injection of vulnerabilities.
I now improved the performance of the algorithm that adds the vulnerabilities to the exploit list (r2477).

This is more an installer issue.
In any case, if you'd want the system to behave differently if the library is not there (like, for example, not showing the graph and sending a warning in stdout), feel free to create a new bug *for that*.

You should have GTK 2.12 if PyGTK is 2.12... your system setup is not recommended.
Please upgrade, this bug is invalid.
