This has been inherited from Nvu.
The current “Source” edition mode is temporary, and will be replaced by the code editor that has been developed for the “Split” view as soon as possible — which will allow to keep the document tabs in “Source” mode.
The new source editor component isn’t ready yet. That should be fixed for the final 0.8 release.

KompoZer 0.7.10 is not compatible with GTK≥2.14, see bug #2339056.
This is fixed with KompoZer 0.8.

This happens sometimes when an external element in the HTML page (e.g. online image) is not available.
Please provide the HTML source of your files so we can check this.

The official Linux build doesn’t enable printing (see mozconfig). To be corrected.

This should be quite easy to fix.
A related feature request would be to have a modifiable drop-down list to select media types.

Confirmed. This one is tricky.
This is a consequence of a new feature that has been implemented in KompoZer 0.8: when hovering the status bar, KompoZer highlights the corresponding element in the main window, but I couldn’t find how to prevent the KompoZer window to jump to the foreground.
My window manager (i3 on Linux) isn’t affected by this bug, but I admit this is *very* annoying...
