In the Tab:Results of the Advanced Search dialog, there are three boxes:
- Found: for the number of matches
- Search Results: Lists the (beginning of) the verses with results
- Preview: One complete match/result, with the words searched for in a different colour.
In Sidebar/Verse List, moving up/down the list by Up/DownArrow, shows the corresponding verse in the Preview pane.

In simple searches, the words searched for are highlighted in the verses shown as results.
This does not work, if a word shows up in all caps in a verse (e.g. ESV/Ezekiel 14:20/GOD)
-> make this work too.

As simple searches are useful and (supposingly) are used quite frequently:
-> Build a hotkey to activate them.
An option could be (a similar strategy is used in Bibledit):
- F3 once: Simple search
- F3 twice: Advances search (F3 toggles).
This would allow to change some settings in the advanced search, which influence also the simple search (see Help/ 6.2 Advanced Se.

Simple Search has an underlined Find button, which cannot be activated by a hotkey (Alt+F) even when within Sidebar/Search (with Tab and Shift+Tab working). Alt+F activates Menu/Find.
-> Let Alt+F activate the find button when working within the search dialog box.

Trying out to find words in headings usingthe advanced/optimized search:
heading:heals
and do not get any results neither in ESV nor in ISV. Both have headings, and at Mark 5:20 it is: Jesus heals ......
Same with
- heading:Heals
- heading:Jesus
As the same problem is in ESV and ISV, it is probably not module related.
As BibleTime has the same problem, I suppose, that this is Lucene...

Comparing Lucene searches in BibleTime and Xiphos: Searching for 'good' in Finney:
- BT gives 56 hits
- XI gives 22 hits.
Checking for missing hits in XI:
- /I. GOD'S LOVS FOR A SINNING WORLD/REMARKS: 'good' shows up in the second half of this section.
-//. ON TRUSTING THE MERCY OF GOD/III 'good appears about 10 times in this section.
-> Check this out.
If Xiphos works OK, please...
