I'm not sure what version you're using, but this features has already been implemented some time ago by manusse. Just go to the settings menu, and enable overlay subtitles (experimental). That should work in most cases (it may mean that you have to install an older version of PowerDVD - please google for it, as I don't have the link handy.
Otherwise, if you cannot get it to work...

About your question, it should actually be fairly trivial to do what you say: it would mean that the muxman project file that I generate needs to point to another audio file. The biggest problem would be to develop the interface for it without creating clutter (since I assume this is not an...

When partly translating a SUP file, upon reopening all empty lines are automatically removed. However, that means you cannot use it for translating anymore.
Solution: automatically add the empty lines again...

Thanks for the bug report - at last an easy one to fix (it resolved to English-->German).
It also prompted me to improve the Translate options, and to include all recently released Google languages too. In addition, you can now choose the From and To languages separately, and you can add a delay (so Google doesn't block your IP address due to SubtitleCreator SPAM-ing. It works rather nicely.
