This feature would make sense, but the implementation needs more work.
The main problem is that it does not work, if gogui-twogtp is used interactively (e.g. with GoGui as a controller, see the invocation example in the gogui-twogtp reference). Right now, it would silently fail, if gogui-twogtp is invoked with the -handicap option, but the controller does not send one of the handicap commands.
