Thanks for the complement! Quite simply, we opted for a common distribution. The test platform will probably run a Debian variant. The development was done on a Slackware dist. Not that obtaining a RTOS is any more difficult than obtaining a "common" distribution, but all the work thus far has been on the dev Slackware machine.
