Hye,
You're right.
It's not worth it to include this extra MB to download.
Because it won't be used by many people. (very very very few people in comparaison to the many people downloading inkscape)
It's better that i add python-tk in prereq to my extension.
You can close this bug.
Btw, being able to populate the extension window with informations from the svg would be really cool.

Hye,
Under win32, inkscape comes with its own python installation.
It comes with Tk in python\Lib\lib-tk, but in the python\Lib, it lacks the tcl8.4 and tk8.4 directory which prevents you from creating a tk window.
So tk is half installed and doesn't work...
You shall ask, why i need a tk window as Inkscape already allows me to create windows for my extensions using .inx files...
