Hi Rolf!
Thanks for verifying the binary package.
Compiling from scratch only works with Qt3, no Qt4!!! Even with compatibility for Qt3, Qt4 won't work.
Regards, Stefan.

You can run AC simulations with a constant frequency value and sweep over this AC simulation with a parameter sweep. In order to plot it correctly, use in an equation PlotVs().

Yes, I meant this I guess... So I am stuck with this. I don't have too much experience with MacOSX and also no system for testing available. I pointed Rolf (maintainer of qucs in MacPorts) to this thread. I hope, he can help here...
Kind regards, Stefan.

Hello,
it's probably because "some libraries from Appleās X11 distribution are required". Qucs comes actually self-contained (with Qt library) but some X11 libraries maybe required. Do you have these installed?
Stefan.

Hello!
The library is right in place. I wonder why it can't be found by the dyld loader.
There is a link in /Applications/qucs which comes with the installation procedure. This is also meant to be the entry point to the program. Did you try that? Or how did you start Qucs?
Regards, Stefan.

Hm,
actually "libqt-mt.3.dylib" should be located in
/usr/local/bin/qucs.app/Ressources/frameworks/
or something like this. Can't remember that right now exactly.
It is not necessary for the MacOSX binary installer to have Qt previously installed. Qt 4.x is NOT required at all, just a Qt 3.x if any...
Stefan.

Hello!
Actually SPICE 2g6 POLY L's should be understood by 0.0.15 version of Qucs. I am going to check your example. What is not supported (yet) are subcircuit parameters (as in the above example).
Regards, Stefan.

Hello!
Can you tell what "could not run" the binary MacOSX package means? You installed it, then what?
About the build problem: You'll need Qt >= 3.1 < 4.x... for successful configure. Without configuring successfully, you won't be able to make.
Stefan.

Yes, at least for those parts which depend on frequency.
