    it would be nice to see a user definable buffer size and a user definable time out. and it would be nice that when an error or rebuffering happens it continues to append to the existing file rather than to start a new one. also it would be nice to support udp as well.

  • completely disable dht

    i want to disable dht completely because i want to only let the tracker get the peers. i have turned off the peer sources but the status still shows the users count and safe peer still get dht hits. if dht is required and cant be removed then what port setting should i block to prevent dht from getting the user count. basically how do i cause a dht firewalled error?.

    i dont see how that is a problem unless the **aa's write a plugin that gets the stats and sends to them so they can better their dirty deeds on the users or something.

    you mean code injection? or what ever happens with the buffer overflow bugs where a code can install a piece of code in an already running program for the purpose of causing trouble or runs wild resulting in crashes?.

    a new version came out as of 1/8/2007 and they changed the upload scheduler from a hard limit to a weighted limit that is reason enough for me to try again.
