Is there a design or something somewhere for what is supposed to happen next on this level? Or are you inviting me to make up what happens next on this level?
My guess was that this hatch might connect to the other hatch "SecretAreaExit2" that I can see off in the part of this level I can't get to yet. Or perhaps it connects to a different level which elsewhere has another hatch...

I just wanted to say that music in this game is particularly good, better than that in many commercial games. Especially some of the drum work!

Thanks for the reply! I guess that explains why I'm stuck. Probably also explains why this level seems to have so many problem spots for getting tux to walk through narrow areas.
It's a good level so far, hope you guys complete it soon!

This driving me nuts. I'm stuck in this area, I'm convinced that this non-functioning hatch I've found (the only one I'ver ever seen that didn't have a spot nearby that activates it) is the way to remaining part of the level. This hatch seems to be broken, whether in the map in general or somehow just in my game. It is the hatch with the labels "SecretAreaExit1" and...

I ask because I find a hatch that doesn't seem to be active...that is I can't go down it. Is that intentional? I seem to be stuck on that level but maybe that's just me missing something.
