I downloaded the XP exe but WinXP says that the file is corrupted "Corrupt installation detected, check source media or re-download".

I get the same behaviour on SuSE 10.2 x_64 Linux. I have found that if I open the SCIM input pad and press a character then the keyboard starts working normally again (at least for a while).
