When using the Clipping and Effects tool, the user has the ability to type values into the "In Time" and "Out Time" text boxes. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to register. Only the "Mark In" and "Mark Out" buttons can successfully change these time values. While in the Config Encoder screen, the window does not minimize after hitting the Show Desktop button in Windows.

I'm having the same problem on Vista with an nVidia card. Changing resolution or trying to go full screen exits to desktop.

If this list is truly supposed to be OSS for Windows, there are some entries that don't belong. For example, Wikipedia. It's just a website, not OSS for Windows. MediaWiki (what Wikipedia runs on) should be listed, however.
Visopsys is another one. It's OSS, but has nothing to do with Windows, just like Linux.
I think OSSWin is a great list but could be better with more strict...

I think a Wiki would be a good idea as long as it was closely monitored for bogus/non-OSS entries. Compiling a list like this is really more than one person can handle.

Trying to protect a large (564MB) file and the program doesn't appear to be doing anything. No activity, no CPU utilization, nothing. Can it do it?
Also, would be smart to put in two password entry boxes forcing the user to type it in twice. Either that or show what's being typed instead of asterisks.

I've seen this happen on occasion, usually with a particular e-mail message. Once that e-mail has been downloaded (by bypassing SGP) then things work again. That may not be the same problem you're having though. Enable logging in the config.xml file and see if you can use the log files to find the problem.
