I saw you started to assign some tasks; I could try to design the database, or to work at the gui, no problem, I just saw the messages, so I will do something tommorrow, probably.
I believe that we should put all the persistence stuff somewhere behind a simple interface, and this will give us the opportunity to rapidly change the database manager software when required.
