  • Save as Patch action

Back in the days when I used XEdit under CMS, I seem to recall that there was a means of integrating with the CMS Patch system (was it called update, I am not sure) so that I could edit a file and the patches to it (applying or rejecting them selectively) and saving any changes I made as a patch. I was wondering if this functionality existed in THE, handling diff files (preferably unified...

  • Followup: RE: Using JAllInOne with Postgresql

I think you mean pooler.ini, and for the record in case anyone else is using it in Glassfish (as I am) it seems to be in the glassfish root. Now I get a bit further, but it fails when loading the data. Along the way I notice a field on the wizard pages which has no label, I think it is the currency (at least it has the value EUR) and its label was MAX 20 chars. The failure comes with...

  • Followup: RE: Using JAllInOne with Postgresql

I have tried downloading the new version, but even though I have dropped and then created the database (it is empty), but when I try logging in it still asks me to log in. How do I reset it back to its initial state and therefore use the first-time wizard? David.

  • Using JAllInOne with Postgresql

I run a Postgresql shop, and I would like to use JAllInOne. I tried loading it but Postgresql complained that datatime is not a valid data type. I presume that as JAllInOne supports many DBs already that there must be a mapping table somewhere that generates the relevant DB specific code. Can anyone point me at the right place. David.

  • Followup: RE: How to go about OpenJPA integration

I will look at IPersistenceUtil with a view to producing an OpenJpaUtil and I will also look at the beanlib bits. My interest in EJB is for rich clients written in Java not for GWT. Oddly the commercial precursors of both OpenJPA and EclipseLink had RemoteEntityManagers, but both have dropped them for reasons that escape me.

  • How to go about OpenJPA integration

I have written a similar set of code to this, but with rather limited scope. I suspect I will need more later, so moving to your code base would seem sensible. At least I should try to understand it. However my JPA provider is not Hibernate, but rather OpenJPA, and I saw that you had created this to be JPA agnostic, and wondered if there was a documentation on where to start with a new JPA...
