  • Comment: ignoreQ uickSwitch does not work after "show desktop"

Logged In: YES user_id=867623 Thanks for the answer. I just wonder why that application is focused, since I've got in my winoptions file : reserve_pixels.Reserve_pixels.doNotFocus: 1.

  • ignoreQ uickSwitch does not work after "show desktop"

Though my application has the ignoreQuickSwitch flag set in the winoptions file, it appears in the quickswitch when I've just clicked on the "show desktop" button in the taskbar before. As soon as I switch to another application window, it disappears from the quickswitch and everything is in order again ! Here are the complete winoptions for that application ...

  • mailbox icons not properly updated

After disabling ppp0 interface, the mailbox icon for my pop mailbox keeps on showing mail.xpm or nomail.xpm, instead of changing to errmail.xpm. I have to restart icewm to get errmail.xpm displayed. Same problem happens when I restart ppp0 interface : errmail.xpm keeps on being displayed until I restart icewm. This is on a debian/testing system with icewm-experimental 1.2.23-1.

  • Comment: icon pathes with blanks do not work in winoptions

Logged In: YES user_id=867623 Hi Adam, Thanks for caring about that matter. I could try setting IconPath in preferences, but that wouldn't fit my needs. I'm using ROX-Filer and, because of the way it manages applications, all icons I want to refer to in winoptions have the same name ".DirIcon" in different directories (each directory corresponding to a different application). For...

  • can't get more than three mailbox status in taskbar

When I add a fourth pop3 account in my prefoverride MailBoxPath field, after icewm restart, the taskbar still only show three mailbox icons. It happens on a debian system with icewm-experimental 1.2.23-1.

  • icon pathes with blanks do not work in winoptions

For example, in winoptions : grun.Grun.icon: /home/knoppix/"My icons"/run.xpm does not work while grun.Grun.icon: /home/knoppix/My_icons/run.xpm does. For my needs, it would be nice if blanks where supported in icon path. Thanks Denis PS : this is on a debian / testing system, with icewm-experimental 1.2.23-1.

  • Comment: Drag and drop on taskbar works only the first time

Logged In: YES user_id=867623 Hi Adam, I did exactly the same sequence as the one you describe, with the same applications. It does not work for me : the second time, Xterm is not raised. Attached is my preferences file. Tell me if you need some more configuration informations. Regards Denis.

  • Comment: Drag and drop on taskbar works only the first time

Logged In: YES user_id=867623 Since I reported the bug, I upgrade to icewm-experimental-1.2.21-1 and performed some more testing. I noticed that the problem does not happen when I drag a file onto icons that sit in the icewm tray (corresponding to windows who have the .tray set to "exclusive" in winoptions.) It happens only when dragging on windows that sit in the...

  • Drag and drop on taskbar works only the first time

Hi, If I drag one file on a taskbar button, the corresponding window is properly raised, and I can drag and drop the file on it. But then, If I drag another file on the *same* taskbar button, the corresponding window is not raised any more. This is a minor bug, since there is a workaround : drag the file on another taskbar button, then on the wanted button, and the target window is...
