When I first setup Murmur I registered a handful of players using the command line utility. I then setup my site so that players can register through the site and it inserts the player's info into the Murmur sqlite DB using the same PlayerID as the site's membership DB. I then deleted all of the manually registered users so that users could set themselves up. This works well.
So what happened...

I had to kill the dbus-daemon as a service as well to get it to un-install. Thanks for your help.

I just tried to uninstall everything (but leave the config/db etc. in place) and found that mumble.exe and a bunch of DLL's were not deleted from the c:\Program Files\Mumble directory. I tried to delete these files manually but get:
Cannot delete dbus-daemon: Access is denied.

I'm installing 1.1.7
The install program first asked if I wanted to uninstall - I selected yes.
Then it said that it was going to stop a daemon (I think).
Now it says:

c:\Program Files\Mumble\dbus-1.dll

After I had installed 1.1.6 (on windows) I set it up as a server. However I had stopped the service before I started the...

How do I give a user admin privileges? (i.e. I have set SuperUser password and logged on and want to give some of the users the ability to kick/ban people.)
