Like I said, initial testing was much more positive than before. I was hoping for some way to do it on my local server so I could start logging the errors and maybe even write some code to fix it. Richard.

  • Safari Update & .NET

So for those who missed the announcement Apple is now offering Safari 3 on Windows and Mac (beta for both) and FCKEditor works in my initial testing. This is great! Question to the developer. I'm using the .NET implimentation and not the javascript files, how can I enable Safari for testing purposes using the .NET control? Thanks, Richard.

Using SpellerPages. IESpell only works with IE and only works with a client install. It works pretty well. dw9.

I did it about two years ago. It was a major pain in the butt and NetSpell is about as dead of a project as their are out there. I switched all of my apps from NetSpell to spelling program recommended for FCK. dw9.

  • Followup: RE: FCK, ModalPopupExtender not playing nice!

Can you post some code? I just upgraded a VM session to IE7 and it tested fine. Basically, all I have on the page is some text, then a modal popup with an FCKeditor in it. When I bring up the editor I can edit right away. Richard.

So I have users who are coping and pasting MS Word text into the box without using the paste word feature. It gets saved back to a MSSQL server. If you are viewing the results of the saved text in IE, you see a punch of: <!--[if !vml]--> <!--[endif]--><!--[if !mso]--> <!--[endif]--> <!--[if !vml]--><!--[endif]--> <!--[if...

  • Followup: RE: FCK, ModalPopupExtender not playing nice!

Found an easy solution that I tested in FF2.0 and IE 6 and worked great. Instead of using a link button I use a javascript function to display the modal popup. So I have the following as my JS function: <script language="javascript"> function openPopup() { $find('MP1').show();...

  • Bug? ASP.NET AJAX &amp; FCKeditor

So I think I ran into a bug with using FCKeditor and Microsoft's AJAX implimentation. I thought I would make a link from the thread from the ASP.NET forums to here: http://forums.asp.net/thread/1563133.aspx Does anyone have any ideas on how I can work around this problem. Thanks all, Richard.

  • ASP.NET Upgrade to 2.4

Quick question for those out there who might now. Been using 2.3.2 with ASP.NET with great success and want to upgrade. The compiled DLL is still at version 2.2, is that DLL completely independent from the rest of the product in regards to features/naming/etc? Do I have to wait for a compiled 2.4? My guess is no, because there was never one released for 2.3 - but just want to make sure I...
