I am still using the ComponentOne Flexgrid. I just checked, and was able to reproduce the crash in the editor when selecting a method. I have a conference at the end of the month I am preparing for, so I won't have a chance until May to take a look.
However, the control is working fine for me in AutoCAD. I know the intelligent help is nice, but with the Flexgrid help file, it's not necessary...

The ActiveX methods are re-enumerated each time the dialog is opened in the editor. If you close and reopen a dialog in the editor, the methods are enumerated. I think that there used to be a way to know if it had already happened once in the session that got lost. I decided it would be easier to enumerate them each time the dialog was opened rather than trying to remember if it had already...

The arguments should be able to be read from the ActiveX control. All the other control types work. The FlexGrid works in the old version. I fixed the crash in the editor, though it does not list arguments for methods. I've logged it as a bug, but for now, use the FlexGrid help.
For formatting, I recommend that you do it all in Lisp using the various set functions rather than in the ODC. It's what I am doing and have found it to be more stable.
