  • Followup: RE: Porting to Apache 2

I have been trying to migrate from Apache1.3 with mod_auth_mysql and MySQL 3.x to a new server with Apache2.2.6, MySQL 5, etc. I'm haven't got it running yet, but it appears that database authentication has been standardized to use mod_authn_dbd instead of various database-specific modules. Go to httpd.apache.org and check out the documentation.

  • Followup: Blame PGP Desktop 9 (re PopFile stopped...)

I'm kicking myself for buying PGP 9 without first trialing it. As soon as I installed it, just like the other thread mentioned (http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=1307206&forum_id=213100 ), POPFile would hang. I mentioned in the other thread that I did try port chaining, uninstalling and reinstalling POPFile to use a different port.

  • Followup: RE: Popfile and Pgp Desktop

I tried the port chaining by uninstalling POPFile and reinstalling using port 11011. Still hung the user interface untill I (again) uninstalled PGP Desktop 9.
