Ok, it looks as though this is the only home currently for BIE stuff, and the things are going very slowley at the moment.
It would be a crying shame to let this prject die, so I'll step to the plate and offer to host material that anyone hsa.
I would be keen for any documentation, tutorials, hints etc, as well as the 6.0.4 release source (for tracking). I'd be glad to take some hints on...

Given that the aim to remove a sperate 2D mode, using 3D X-Y instead, could this be implemetned to allow only movement in the XY plane?.

It would be useful to be able to re-position an entity by dragging it with the mouse or selecting it and then 'nudging' it with the cursor keys. If possible, the vector governing the entities position should be displayed as this takes place.

It might as well be closed:- e-fence gives an error very early on - from a call to the vendor-supplied Xmu library. So,
I'll build X11R6.6 from souces and start again.
Should I find something that I can pin on Ishmail I'll raise a new report, so that you can get this one out of your hair!

Hmm, I'm not so sure:- I can send mail without difficulty,
it's just when the body is replaced that there is a problem
- the other bug describes an inability to send mail at all.
I'm happy to provide more debug information, if I can:-
please let me know what needs to be checked and I'll do it!

I have now tried compiling hgl/HalAppC.C and hgl/MemMap.C
with HPUX defined, as you suggested, but to no avail! There
is still the same error at the same place..

PGP 6.5.8
If the 'encrypt' button is selected from the
composition pane and the 'send' button is pushed,
encryption proceeds as expected. However, after the
confirmation of encrpytion is given, ishmail fails with
a Memory fault at SendFile.C line 438, as below...
