    Download with pMBP requires login. Because of this a download link would be a work-around which directly accesses the backup files. This would allow everybody who knows this link to download the backup(s). Do you really want this? Or do you have another idea how to implement his?.

  • Comment: ftp for saving backups and ftp backing up

    >> So why not via ftp? You actually can backup MySQL backups to an FTP server. You just can't *copy* files between multiple FTP servers. Btw. MySLQDumper is not a competing project. MySLQDumper also is licensed under the GNU GPL. So they could copy pMBP-code if they wish to. Both applications have different advantages and fields of application. pMBP has the problem of php-timeouts...
