I'm running the ubuntu distro 8 with the distro's version of apache and php5. I've installed rnews (from tar -xzpf ...) and although index.php runs through php, install.php doesn't. I've tried copying in my own version of helloworld.php into the rnews directory - and that runs under php fine.
This means I can't begin to install rnews - because install.php won't run.
Why would index.php run...
