Hmm so as i see it is a Synce-KDE 8.1 related error. I tried to compile Synce-KDE 8.0 and the device is connected under raki, and works. No synchronization possible but thats not the matter of troubleshooting as far as i know probably. Anyway if it is, it says "No synchronizer for Contact, File, Apoiontment, etc...".
So if anyone thinks he has found the cure for the 8.1 trouble...

If you mean the KDE-crash KCrash handler, its output remains the same as stated above. I checked if i spelled it allright and i did in the configuration. Is there an other way to find out if the arguments --disable-unique and --enable-debug=yes got through?.

Now thats weird. I configured it the way you said. Run it and the dump from the console didnt change. Maybe i am stupid and the dump is written somewehere else.. ? I will try once more later today. (i did a full synce-kde uninstall)..

it runs perfectly under
Slackware 9.1, kernel 2.6.6 with ALSA, with QT3.3.1 .
I searched for such a player for months and now it is here.
Simple, playlist, sound. Excelent.

Hi, i had the same problem on my Slackware 9.1. Seeing the date of your post you probably long since managed to get it running. But in the case you didnt here is what to do. It should work on all slackwares...
You need to create these symlinks.. I hope i write them all.
in /usr/lib create symlink called libGLU.so which points to /usr/X11R6/lib/libGLU.so.1.3
