If you dont want 'homedir' feature, you can tweak login.php and config.php to make it take users from your forum table.

FTP filebase feature is not available in version 4.x. There are many ftp file managers though, like net2ftp. - Cyril.

$_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR' ] is returning value 127.0.0.1 always. I used it in my guest book to log users. It worked earlier. But after the sourceforge server upgrade its always returning the loopback address.
