Fabian, couldn't you implement this workaround in Privoxy until this bug is fixed in Firefox which will hopefully be done soon? Downgrading Privoxy on Archlinux is not so easy.

If I open an mpg file in avidemux 2.5.1 and click onto the play button I get a window with the message: "Trouble initializing audio device". After clicking onto the "Ok" button, the video is played but without sound.
I've got an M-Audio Audiophile 24/96, which is running with the ALSA kernel module snd-ice1712.
I'm using kernel 2.6.31.4 and ALSA 1.0.21.a on Arch Linux. I have neither arts...

As already reported in Bug 2166977 qdvdauthor 2.0.0 and every earlier version sometimes doesn't quit and stays in memory, if it's
closed, at least if a DVD was created.
If qdvdauthor is only started and closed at once the process is killed. If a DVD was created and qdvdauthor is closed by clicking onto the window's close button (the x button in the title bar) only the qdvdauthor window is...

Is it possible to run umtsmon as a non-root user?
I've already tried to add my user to the uucp group, and I've set suid for /usr/sbin/pppd and /usr/bin/usb_modeswitch, but nothing works. The profile settings are not saved. Quite the contrary it takes a profile, which I created as root, but removed before starting umtsmon, but doesn't keep the correct settings, especially it always forgets...

I'd also vote for Qt 4 support.
But what is ModemManager?.

It's a downstream bug.

This seems to work for me, too.
Maybe this should be added to default.action.

I can reproduce the problem with both versions (Privoxy 3.0.13 beta and Privoxy 3.0.14 built from CVS) on Arch Linux.
Firefox still tries to automatically download and play every audio file at the same time.
